- Shazam is launching a new global reading list and a version for 42 nations
- “ Viral chart ” will update daily
- It will include the tracks that users identify with Shazam
Shazam already offers several different graphics to follow popular and most discovered songs for many countries around the world. And yes, many of these tracks are probably the ones that users – maybe even you – have identified with Shazam on your phone.
I mean, we were all there, when we got out and that a song strikes, that we do not remember quite the name of, but we really need to know what it is. This is where Shazam always hits like an excellent musical recognition application.
Now, however, he wants to do a better job to follow the music of the moment and the various flows that could mean that a new number one success arrives. Shazam’s viral graphics are launching today and are available at the Shazam site at the moment and as a reading list on Apple Music.
The collection will include a “global” daily reading list updated with 50 tracks and 42 national tables with 25 songs each. Shazam’s twist here is that it will use unique signals, which probably include what people recognize with the application, to highlight and recognize popular, promising or classic songs that are increasing.
Shazam is a bit cheeky in the description of the viral graph, noting that this is not only what tends to Tiktok, but taking a complete view of the landscape. He indicates that he will follow and identify the songs that gain popularity in “streaming, social and televised investments”, but also pieces that are played in spaces such as bars and restaurants.
It’s a lot to follow, but there again, he probably uses data that Shazam already has. This also suggests that Shazam’s viral graphics will include a mixture of old and new songs in all genres.
If you want to listen to a wide variety of music or curious to know which songs could earn flows in a specific place, Shazam’s viral graphics are probably worth trying.
You can see and listen to the glimpses of songs on the The site of the platform under “charts”, but since Apple has Shazam, it is not surprising either that these are integrated as reading lists that you can follow on the musical streaming platform.
