Friday, the high court of the Sindh (SHC) gave a deposit to Sahir Hassan, son of actor Sajid Hassan, in a narcotic case involving the restoration of 557 grams of cannabis.
The court also ordered Hassan to submit an RS1 million surety, Express News reported.
The case, investigated by Karachi South police, came from Hassan’s arrest on February 22, 2025 in the Defense Housing Authority region. He remained in police custody for more than two months.
A constitutional SHC bench approved the surety advocacy after hearing the arguments on both sides. The court recognized the prolonged duration of the guard and ordered parole during the procedures.
According to an interim challan submitted last month before the judicial magistrate South, Hassan would have confessed to having transferred the product of the sale of drugs to a bank account managed by the partner of his father.
The court subsequently summoned the manager, asking him to submit banking documents to check the transactions.
However, since the last audience, the manager has not provided financial files or declarations to counter the allegation.
On the other hand, the district judge and the South sessions granted a five -day pre -trial detention of the accused, Armaghan, to the cybercriminal wing in a case linked to the exploitation of an illegal call center.
The hearing took place in a hearing room in Karachi, where Armaghan was presented via a video link.
FIA cybercrime officials asked for pre-trial detention, declaring that the suspect is accused of having directed an illegal call and transfer center of the cryptocurrency.
They declared that a pre -trial detention was essential to conduct technical surveys.
The court accepted the request and submitted Armaghan to the custody of the cybercriminal wing for five days. Penitentiary authorities were also responsible for transferring his guard accordingly.
