The flight scandal of signs of Connor Stalions for Michigan football should affect Wolverines in 2025.
Head coach Sherrone Moore should be suspended two games next season because of the allegations that he did not cooperate in the NCAA investigation into the flight of Michigan signs under coach Jim Harbaugh in 2023, according to Associated Press.
The suspension is expected to meet the third and fourth Wolverine games of the season. They play at home against the center of Michigan on September 13, then at Nebraska a week later.

Michigan also has a self-imposed sanction which has not yet been announced, according to the report. The Wolverines program rocked university football this season, especially since the team remained undefeated that year.
Although the NCAA has no rules against the flight of key panels, they do not allow schools to send scouts to future opponent games and use electronic devices to record signs of other teams.

Big Ten’s school records have shown that Stalion had bought tickets for matches with teams that Michigan would play on their schedule and sent people to record them to see if he could resume game signals.
Stalions did not participate in the investigation of the director body after having resigned from his post with Michigan.

Before Moore took over for Harbaugh after jumping into the NFL with the Los Angeles loads, the NCAA alleged that he had raped rules as an assistant under Harbaugh. He was accused of having deleted text messages with Stalion, which were finally recovered and given to the NCAA for his investigation.
Moore said he was cooperating with the NCAA and would continue to do so.
Moore went 8-5 in his first full season as a Michigan football chief coach, and after a solid recruitment class this off-season, Wolverines should be heavy competitors to win the Big Ten.

They open their schedule against the state of new-mexic on August 30.
