The legal war between FKA Twigs and Shia LaBeouf has resumed once again with a new allegation filed recently, at a time when he is already embroiled in legal trouble.
The 38-year-old musician, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, filed a new motion in Los Angeles Superior Court, claiming the Transformers star attempted to “silence” her with a “settlement document containing language that is unlawful under California’s Stand Together Against Non-Disclosure Act (STAND Act).”

LaBeouf filed the suit in October 2025 when Twigs made some statements during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
When the interviewer asked if she felt safe, the singer replied, “No, I wouldn’t feel safe. I feel really passionate about getting involved with organizations like Sistah Space and No More, to help survivors in any way I can. I think it’s less about me at this point and more about looking to the future. Just, you know, getting on with my life.”
Despite claiming the comment went against an NDA they signed, LaBeouf dropped the lawsuit earlier this month after Twigs’ attorney asked the court for a dismissal.
The new filing claims that the actor himself opened up about his past relationship with Twigs in his recent Channel 5 interview which itself allegedly violated the NDA. He then declared that the killer The hitmaker seeks “a judicial declaration that the [2025] the NDA provisions of the Settlement Agreement are unlawful, unenforceable and void.
The former couple ended their relationship through a legal battle in 2020, with Twigs accusing LaBeouf of sexual assault, assault and infliction of emotional distress. However, they later settled the matter amicably.
