Shiraz, a close partner of Armaghan and a key suspect in the Mustafa Amir Murder case, alleged that he had been forced by the police to confess crime.
During a hearing before the judicial magistrate of Karachi South, Shiraz told court that the police had promised him a lighter sentence if he agreed to confess.
Shiraz clarified that he was not the accused but an eyewitness of the crime, declaring: “I saw Armaghan brutally assassinate Mustafa Amir, but I was helpless at the time.”
He also denied any involvement in murder.
Following his refusal, the court rejected the request of the head of the investigation to register the denominational declaration of Shiraz.
Meanwhile, the Pakistani actor Sajid Hasan strongly criticized the police in the Mustafa Amir Murder case. He accused the police of forcing his son, Sahir Hasan, of providing a forced declaration under duress. Sajid Hasan described this as “well -planned conspiracy”, saying that his son had been hostage to manipulate his testimony.
At a press conference, Sajid Hasan revealed that his son had been physically attacked in order to force him to make a statement that was aligned with the version of police events.
He wondered if these repeated incidents targeting his family made a coincidence or were part of a wider plot.
