Sindh declared on April 4 for the 46th anniversary of Bhutto’s death

The Sindh government announced a public holiday on Friday, April 4 to mark the 46th anniversary of the death of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and former Prime Minister, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

According to a notification issued by the head secretary of the Sindh, Asif Haider Shah, all the offices of the provincial government will remain closed by day.

The holidays will also apply to autonomous and semi-autonomous organizations, companies and local councils under the administrative control of the provincial government.

To commemorate the anniversary of Bhutto’s death, the PPP will hold a gathering of condolences to Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on April 4, which should attract party workers and supporters of the country.

Yesteerdy, President Asif Ali Zardari, awarded the highest civil prices of Pakistan to several distinguished citizens, including the late Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, in recognition of their excellence, their contribution and remarkable achievements in various fields.

During a prestigious ceremony held in Aiwan-I-Sadr, President Asif Ali Zardari conferred the highest civil honors in Pakistan, the Nishan-E-Pakistan, at the late Prime Minister and Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Sheaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto. His daughter, Sanam Bhutto, received the prize on his behalf, marking an important moment in the history of the country.

The ceremony, which have attended notable personalities such as the president of the Senate Yousuf Raza Gilani, the president of the PPP, Bilawal Bhutto, and the first lady Asefa Bhutto-Zardari, celebrated those who made remarkable contributions in various fields.
