Hyderabad:

Sindh’s litigants should bear the weight of the anti-channel demonstrations of legal fraternity while lawyers organizing a sit-in demonstration on the national road to the Khairpur district announced an indefinite boycott of the courts. The members of the office of the Sindh High Court Bar Association and the Karachi Bar Association, leading the protest camp to the sit-in in Babarloi, Khairpur, announced this decision to the press on Monday.

The president of the president of the KBA, Amir Nawaz Warraich, told the media that a meeting of representatives of all the bars of the Sindh had decided to widen the sphere of their sit-in protest by boycotting the courts. However, the plan to block the province’s railways was deferred for three days.

“We have also decided jointly that if the federal government does not inform the cancellation of the Canals project within 72 hours, we will ask the Pakistani peoples party to leave the government,” said the lawyer. According to him, another series of the lawyer’s meeting will take place on April 24 and after this meeting, they will announce if they go ahead with the demonstrations of sit-in on the slopes.

Warraich informed that two other sit-in-in-in-the-lines on highways are added to bring the total number of sit-down sites to the province. According to him, Karachi lawyers should choose a place for the sit-in in their city while the three places include Babarloi, Dera Maur in the Kashmore-Kandhkot and Kamoo Shaheed district, on the border of Sindh-Punjab, in the Ghotki district.

“An impression is given that only the lawyers protested in the Sindh. To deny it, the doctors will observe a day strike through the Sindh after one or two days,” he shared. Warraich said the Federal Government of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz should realize that the Sindh’s people are making a simple request.

“You have planned to experiment with an unnatural process to irritate a desert. It is an experience that has already failed in India, water and South Africa.” The lawyer warned that the people of Sindh cannot allow the center to transform their province into a sterile country in order to fertilize a desert.

In addition, SHCBA president Hyderabad, defender Ayaz Hussain Tunio, in an interview with an information chain, said that after the 72 hours of death, the railway blockade would start from Rohri, Sukkur district. According to him, Reunion also discussed that interprotrovincial traffic always finds routes in the province and which must be closed. He said their camp in Babarloi had not received adequate security, warning that in the event of an essential task, Dig Sukkur and SSP Khairpur will be held responsible.

Meanwhile, earlier in the day, Darya Bachayo Tehreek Syed Zain Shah and the president of Qaumi Awami Tehreek, Ayaz Latif Palijo, visited the Babarloi camp to express his support for Protestant lawyers. “What justice is it to make a green province by transforming three others into deserts?” Asked Palijo. He warned the leaders to play with Unity of the Country by preventing the river from flowing towards the Sindh.

Shah reiterated that the leading elite will not only have to cancel the Canals project, but also the plans of corporate agriculture.

The blocking of motorways not only affected the interprotrovincial traffic movement, but people living in the Sindh are also affected. On Monday, the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, announced the postponement of the exams that were to start from April 22. “The new date and the calendar will be announced when the road and highway situation will be standardized,” reads the circular.
