Six family members died on Friday, when a vehicle, they were traveling, left the Neelum Valley road while negotiating a pointed turn near the village of Chilyana in Ajk and plunged hundreds of feet below, according to the media.
The accident occurred on the right bank of the Neelum river, about 50 kilometers northeast of the capital Ajk Muzaffarabad, a report cited the disaster management officer of the Neelum Valley Akhtar Ayoub district, like.
“He rolled on the slope of the mountain but stopped just step in the river; otherwise, he would have been swept away by the violent current,” said Ayoub.
