Skate Lays in early access on a wide range of platforms next week (September 16). EA has already detailed a fairly complete Skate Roadmap for the coming months, with many major features that should be added to the evolving multiplayer skating game.
Thank you to some Skate Early Access, we played the game and found that it was “an excellent game to simply skate or spend time with friends”. You can know more in our full Skate preview. If the first glimpses are something to do, Skate could have a very successful launch indeed. Hopefully, Skate will end up ranking strongly on our list of games in writing before the launch completely.

Skate Road Tagt – This is what happens to early access
Skate Declaration of early access on September 16, 2025. From There, there are a lot of updates planned for the next few months and beyond. Here is what to expect:
- Season 1 (October 21): Two seasonal events (skate-o-wew, 7-fold maple harvest); Passk Pass; Improvements of quality of life
- Season 2 (December 21): New cooperative game mode; 2 seasonal events; Festive vocal cat; New gameplay tips (impossible and extended hand plants); Replay editor improvement
- Season 3 (TBC): Rankings; Open World Collectable; More character slots (tattoos); Parts created by the player; New game modes; New gameplay tips (Darks Tlides and Foot Plants)
What to expect early access updates to skate
As you can see, Skate Updates tend to add a mixture of quality of life and seasonal events. According to EA, each season will understand the following:
- New skateable zones
- New challenges
- New seasonal events
- New brand partners
- New cosmetics
- New tracks added to the soundtrack
- Bug fixes
- Quality of life updates
