ORAKZAI:
The skeleton of a three-year-old girl who went missing last month has been discovered in the mountains of Orakzai district.
Authorities have arrested four main suspects linked to the abduction and brutal murder of three-year-old Muqada in Upper Ghalju, in a case that shocked the local community.
The tragic incident came to light on November 19, when Abdul Qayyum, the victim’s uncle, reported his three-year-old niece missing to the Ghalju police station. Following the initial report, a formal case was registered under Sections 364A/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code after completing preliminary legal proceedings.
During investigation, the body of the girl was found in a remote hilly area of Upper Ghalju. Considering the sensitive and serious nature of the crime, a special Joint Investigation Team (JIT) was formed under the direct supervision of Orakzai DPO Shaukat Ali. The team, comprising investigative, technical and intelligence officers, used modern scientific methods to gather crucial evidence.
Investigation revealed that the main suspect, Zena Gul, conspired with her accomplice Ihsan to kidnap the girl, while Fazal Rehman alias Roman was bribed to participate in the crime.
