The Pittsburgh steelers waited for the sixth round to select a quarter of a quarter from the NFL draft in April. But, after writing the old quarter of the state of Ohio, Will Howard, the Steelers room has always asked more questions than answers.
This week, Pittsburgh seems to have found a short -term solution to its signal concerns. The quadruple MVP of the NFL agreed with a one -year contract, confirmed the Steelers. The 41-year-old quarterrier is expected to attend the MINICAMP MANICUME COMMITION next week.
While the signature was welcomed with both praise and criticism, Skip Bayless made its feelings about the Steelers decision clearly.

In a video published on his social media platform, Bayless described Rodgers as “diva” and suggested that the veteran quarterrière was not much left in the reservoir.
“He has been washed his last three years in Green Bay,” said Bayless. “Go watch the numbers of his last three qualifying games in Green Bay … I told the jets that he had been washed.”

Bayless then offered a play on words, saying that Rodgers “would steal the Steelers”.

A Bayless then questioned the state of the legendary franchise. “What has become of Pittsburgh’s Steelers?” He continued. “I don’t hate them anymore, I pice them.”
The Steelers finished last season with a 10-7 file. Longtime head coach Mike Tomlin has never finished a regular season with a losing record. The Baltimore ravens in the loss of joker nuts against the Baltimore ravens in January.

Justin Fields started the first five games of the Steelers campaign in 2024, before Russell Wilson took over. Fields signed this off -season with the jets earlier, while Wilson landed with the New York Giants.
Rodgers has not taken a team to the playoffs since he left Green Bay. January 2022 marked the last appearance of rodgers in the playoffs. The packers suffered a 13-10 defeat in the division round in this match.
After undergoing an injury at the end of the season in the first match of the 2023 season, Rodgers appeared in the 17 games in 2024. He finished the year with 3,897 yards by the pass and 28 affected against 11 interceptions.
After spending the 2024 season with the Titans du Tennessee, the Steelers brought Mason Rudolph. Skylar Thompson was also on the list, but neither of the two quarter-arre was considered the main starter entering in 2025.
