- More than half of the owners of small British companies already use AI daily
- Efficiency remains the strongest reason why small businesses continue to adopt AI
- Unique merchants are experiencing the greatest advantages of the adoption of artificial intelligence tools
The AI is now firmly anchored in the daily life of many owners of small businesses across the United Kingdom, have said new reports.
Vistaprint’s search indicates that more than half of small businesses are already experiencing AI tools, while about a quarter use them every day to manage tasks ranging from marketing to customer service.
This change indicates that what started as a prudent experiment evolves towards routine dependence, and those who do not adopt AI could be left in the long term.
Efficiency is the main engine
Of the 500 companies interviewed, efficiency is the most frequently cited advantage of AI tools, one in three respondents noting that AI has rationalized the operation of their companies.
Some indicate a reduction in costs, while others see gains in decision -making and customer service, although these advantages are reported at lower levels.
Companies use AI in a practical and daily manner rather than only for high -level planning, because tasks such as editing of emails with an AI writer, helping customers through automated responses or collecting research information becomes more and more common.
In fact, around two out of five respondents said they were counting on the AI to compete with large companies by exploiting the analysis of the data that would otherwise be out of their reach.
At the same time, some owners remain cautious. About a fifth of those questioned do not yet use AI, although they plan to do so in the near future.
The general tone of the results is optimistic, 84% indicating a positive experience so far.
Almost a third of the owners have even suggested seeing no long -term threat of AI, which contrasts with larger debates in industry that often reside on risks.
“As a supporter of small businesses, it is important to highlight the tools and progress that small business owners (SBOS) can use to develop,” said Sabine Levellier, vice-president of marketing at Vistaprint.
“More SBOs turn to emerging technologies to evolve their operations, and AI, in particular, allows them to work more intelligently and develop more quickly.”
