- GMKTEC EVO T1 offers high -end performance, AI power and expansability
- Supports local AI tasks, high -speed storage and several 4K screens
- The mini PC offers USB4, Dual Lan, Oculink and up to 128 GB of RAM
In recent years, we have seen mini PCs travel a long way, to be simple systems for basic tasks, to be powerful enough to manage creative workloads, multitasking, local AI treatment and even high -end games.
With many users turning away from voluminous office computers, the attraction of compact systems with large -scale capacities continues to grow.
The GMKTEC EVO T1 is a clear example of how small machines can offer large performance, powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285H processor, which includes 14 cores and reaches up to 5.1 GHz.
Demanding AI tasks
The chip is part of the most recent range of Intel and is designed to manage demanding AI tasks such as local LLM inference. GMKTEC claims that its new mini worksation can work Deepseek 32B at 15 tokens per second with 77 tops AI Calculation.
The EVO T1 can support up to 128 GB of RAM DDR5 and it is delivered with three SSD M.2 PCIe 4.0 locations.
The inclusion of an OCULINK port also allows external use of the GPU, which opens the door to advanced rendering tasks and even to an AAA game place.
The LAN ports in double 2.5 Gbit / s support rapid networking, while USB4 promises data transfer up to 40 Gbit / s.
The EVO T1 can lead to four screens at a time, thanks to HDMI and DisplayPort management.
Something that this powerful obviously needs decent cooling to maintain the performance of the stable system under the load, and the EVO T1 offers a double channel system that balances the air flow and noise.
There is not yet a word on prices or availability, but GMKTEC says it happens soon.
The new mini PC AI Max + 395 of the company EVO-X2 AI, with 64 GB and 1 TB SSD, has a PDSF of $ 2199 (it is currently on sale at $ 1499), so it is probably the EVO T1 at around $ 1299, perhaps as low as $ 999 with prior discounts.
