Sony revealed his very first wireless fighting stick, the code name Coded Project Defant, and he will be released in 2026.
Announced during PlayStation’s June playing state, Project Defant is designed for a variety of combat games and can be used wirelessly or cable for PlayStation 5 and PC.
“This new elegant controller will give players more flexibility to play their favorite fighting games, whether wireless with innovative PlayStation Liaison Technology that provides ultra-faible latency, or via a wired connection to PS5 or PC,” said Edwin Foo, vice-president, product development, sie, in a PlayStation blog article.
Project Defiant has a high -quality high quality digital stick by Sony, without tochangeable interchangeable restrictive doors (square, circle and octagon) for stick, buttons with mechanical switches and a touchpad like that found on the DualSense wireless controller.

The controller also has a robust and ergonomic design for long game sessions, has a storage compartment for restriction doors for convenience and a PS Link USB adapter.
Like the DualSense wireless controller, Project DEURIE also supports the possibility of wirelessly awakening the user’s PS5 by pressing and maintaining the PS button on the upper side of the device.
As mentioned earlier, the synchronization of the inputs has been refined thanks to Sony’s PS Link wireless technology, but there is also an option for players to connect to play using a USB-C connection.
Sony has also confirmed that the combat stick will be packed with a loss transport case, which includes a lever gap to ensure the safety of the digital stick, allowing players to take the equipment on the move.
Since Project Defanti is only a code name, we will probably learn the name of the combat stick closer to the launch.
