- The new Sony CS speakers vary from $ 229 to $ 279
- Library, soil, center and Atmos speaker models
- The biggest speakers are high resolution audio certified
The popular CS series of Sony of theater and Sony stereo speakers has just become larger with the arrival of four new models: library speakers, floor, atmospheric speakers and a central speaker.
Sony says that the new speakers bring a “studio quality sound in the house”, and I am delighted to see that they stayed with the brand of Sony “all color as long as its black design-while making the same width of the central speaker as their AV receptors, which is a pleasant touch if you like your configuration to be visible.
The best part is that they all have an impressive fan of drivers and extremely reasonable prices, despite the fact that Sony is generally more at the upper end of home theater options.
The new speakers are:
- SS-CS5M2 Library Libris
- SS-CS3M2 speaker
- SS-CS8M2 central channel speaker
- SS-CSEM2 DOLBY ATMOS UPFIRING IN SPELERS
The new speakers of Sony CS series: what’s new and how much?
The CS5M2 library speakers cost $ 249.99 per pair and have a three-to-in-room design with a 5.12 inch woofer, a soft dome tweeter and a super wide dispersion tweeter. They are certified for high resolution audio and have a frequency response of 53 Hz to 50,000 Hz.
The CS3M3 floors are four -lane, adding a second 5.12 inch woofer and a bass reflex speaker, and once again, they are high -resolution audio certified. The frequency response is 45 Hz to 50,000 Hz. The price of the list is $ 279.99 per loudspeaker (therefore about $ 560 for a pair).
The speaker of the central canal, the CS8M2, has Woofers Twin 3.94 “and a high precision tweeter; there is a reflex enclosure from low to the back. The speaker is $ 229.99.
Finally and above all, there are the Dolby Atmos CSEM2 speakers at $ 249.99 per pair. Each speaker is delivered with a complete 3.94 “speaker, and they are designed to sit at the top of other CS speakers, or they can climb on the wall / the ceiling.
The four speakers are now available in the United States, although we have no confirmation of a version in other countries yet.
The only thing that is lacking in particular is a subwoofer. Sony’s Sony Subwoofer is no longer really available, so it is surprising that a new model has not been revealed here either.
