Friday, Indiana fever returned to the column of victories to keep their hopes in the playoffs – despite their exhausted list.
Five players who started the 2025 season on the alignment of fever were lost by end -of -season injuries. To worsen things, these injury setbacks occurred in a two -month window.
On Thursday, WNBA star Caitlin Clark announced that she was excluded for the rest of this season. Clark has been sidelined since July 15, when she suffered an injury to the groin in a match against Connecticut Sun.

“I spent hours at the gymnasium every day with the singular goal of coming back there, disappointed is not a word big enough to describe what I feel,” wrote the leader on X.
The fever loses Caitlin Clark for the rest of the 2025 season
The fever colleagues Guards Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald were each was important in a match with the Phoenix Mercury last month. Colson underwent a torn ACL, while McDonald received a broken foot diagnosis.
Cunningham encountered her own problems when she suffered an injury to the MCL at the end of the season on August 27.

Elsewhere, Indiana recently confirmed that striker Chloe Bibby would not return to court this season.
Before the fever organized Chicago’s sky on Friday, the five aforementioned players met at Center short for a group photo. Two of the fever players relied on crutches, while McDonald was sitting on a scooter.

“A sick joke,” she wrote on X.
The Indiana was inactive on Saturday but entered the day in third place in the classification of the Eastern Conference. The fever will return to action on Sunday when they face the mystics of Washington in Baltimore, Maryland.
