The Indiana Cunningham Indiana fever goalkeeper praised social media on Tuesday evening when she seemed to defend Caitlin Clark with a hard fault on the Solar Guard of Connecticut Jacy Sheldon.
The stormy exchange of Cunningham and Sheldon turned into a bomb game before the players of the two teams come to break it. Cunningham, Sheldon and the Sun Guardian Lindsay Allen were ejected from the game with about 40 seconds before the victory.

The hard fault came after Sheldon pushed Clark into the eyes in the third quarter. The Marina Mabrey solar guard then pushed Clark to the ground in what was a Chippy affair.
While the fever ranked Sun 88-71, Cunningham was congratulated for its intention of the application of the team.
Head coach Stephanie White was angry with the way the referees officiated the game and the inability to take control.

“I think it was quite obvious that things were preparing,” said White, via Indy Star. “When the officials do not take control of the ball game, when they allow these kinds of things … It happens all the season, all season. It is not only this game.
“This is what is happening. You have competitive women who are the best in the world in what they do and when you allow them to play physical, and you allow these things to happen, they will compete, and they will have the back of their teammates. This is exactly what you expect from fierce competition.
