Tennis stars Naomi Osaka and Sorana Cirstea got into an argument at the end of their Australian Open match on Thursday.
Osaka ended Cirstea’s final match at the Australian Open by beating the Romanian player 6-3, 4-6, 6-2. Cirstea had words for Osaka as he greeted her at the net for the post-match handshake.

She slapped Osaka’s hand then walked towards the referee. Osaka asked, “What was that for?”
Cirstea didn’t seem to appreciate Osaka trying to show off during the match.
“Apparently she was mad at a lot of ‘Come on,’ but whatever,” Osaka said in the post-match interview. “I mean, I tried to play well, I did my best. She’s a great player – I think it was her last Australian Open so, OK, sorry, she was angry about that.”
Osaka added that Cirstea could have asked her to stop.
