In order to add someone to your maximum plan, you must be the main account holder. If they are under the same roof as you, an additional member account is not necessary. But if they live elsewhere, you will have to upgrade your account.
The additional member account will have its own connection identification information and will provide the same best maximum emissions, best films and maximum features as the main account. But they can only broadcast on one device at a time, so they cannot share their connection with others in the same place.
If this person is already on your existing account, you can transfer their profile, including their watch history, recommendations and parameters to their new connection.
For the moment, you must be a direct subscriber to Max: bundle subscribers who get Max as part of a larger package cannot use the additional member function. Additional member feature is only available in the United States at the time of writing, but it should soon be exceeded in more regions.
