- After apparently working with the Apple TV application for some users, Netflix says it was not planned
- The streaming service calls for the integration that some people have seen “by inadvert”
- In addition, Netflix does not expect to adopt integration in the future
One of the main advantages of the Apple TV application – on an Apple TV 4K streaming box or another platform – is not only that shelters the more original Apple TV games and MLS, but it is also a center for what you have broadcast on other services.
The catching up twenty -two, if you want, however, since its beginnings several years ago, Netflix – one of the best streaming services – has never been part of it. It made the experience a little clumsy, and it was apparently a collision point to stream it. It appeared that Netflix did not want you to easily jump into Squid games or any other title of the main Apple TV application.
This morning (February 14), however, some users of the Apple TV application began to point out that Netflix content appeared in the Apple TV application, with the possibility of jumping immediately and continuing to watch. It was finally an opening of the approach of the closed garden of Netflix and a sign that perhaps – just perhaps – the tide turned.
It seemed to be a strange deployment for Netflix or Apple, because the abolition of this partnership would have been worthy of interest. It would have been on Apple’s theme because it should hold a launch on February 19, and this week marked the launch of PowerBeats Pro 2 and the arrival of the Apple TV application on Android.

But that’s what we want
Mark Gurman de Bloomberg went to X (formerly Twitter) to add that it would be unlikely that Netflix will make such a degree at 180 degrees and that so few users saw it live in the Apple TV application. He suggested that it could be a bug or an error at some point, and that’s where the bad news begins to arrive.
Now Techradar can confirm that, according to a spokesperson from Netflix, it was an inadvertent integration that should not occur and that only a small set of users saw it. In addition, Netflix has since been backwards, and the streamer does not expect integration to become a full -fledged feature in the future.
This occurs after Netflix made waves to increase prices again at the end of January, a trend that, for my part, I want the streaming service to reveal to me. He also increased the cost of his plans while promising “investing in programming and offering more value to our members”. The integration of the Apple TV application and making it more accessible and seamless to look at content – whether again or resume – would have been just for me and apparently many other people.
Who knows, perhaps this error will allow Netflix to come to the table and start to integrate into Apple at a given moment, although the cards seem stacked this for the moment.
