- Amazon has renewed Invincible For a fifth season
- The fourth entry of the highly rated animated program will arrive in 2026
- Matthew Rhys also joined the main series of videos for season 4
Amazon revealed Invincible was renewed for a fifth season.
The announcement, which was made on the social networks of the adult animated program yesterday (July 17), confirms Invincible Season 4 will not be his last entry. Given the popularity of the series of privileged videos acclaimed by criticism, it is not a big surprise, but it is nevertheless pleasant to hear that the history of Mark Grayson will continue on one of the best streaming services in the world.

Interestingly, Amazon also revealed that the distribution of the show had already finished its lines for its fifth season.
It is likely that, then, that Invincible Season 5 could be ready to go in 2027 and maintain the recently established plan of the Video premium to release new seasons per year: Invincible Season 2 part 1 was broadcast at the end of 2023, Invincible Season 2, part 2, was launched at the beginning of 2025 and its third and the last season the release earlier this year. Season 4 should also arrive in 2026, so there is no reason to suspect that the fifth episode of the show will not arrive a year after that.
What character could be expressed by Matthew Rhys in Invincible Season 4?
InvincibleThe last renewal and completion of the vocal work of season 5 was not the only announcements made in the video above. Indeed, Amazon also revealed that Matthew Rhys (Americans,, Perry Mason) had joined the vocal cast for one of the best shows in the first chapter.
Naturally, the role of Rhys is kept under Wraps, but that does not mean that we cannot guess which character he depicts. After all, there are many candidates in the graphic novel of the series who have not yet appeared in its animated adaptation.
So who could be expressed? The great Regent Thragg is a possibility but, as much as I like Rhys as an actor, I am not sure that he has the gravity to play the commander -in -chief of the Viltrum Empire. JK Simmons, who plays Omni-Man, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who vocious the conquest, have proven that the actors with deeper voices are the best suited to represent viltrumites, so I don’t think Rhys is the right choice for Thragg.
If he plays a villain, he could do it better like someone like Dinosaurus – the real name David Anders – who is in a way a superhuman eco -terrorist and, as his name suggests, a formidable humanoid reptile which changes shape when it is in its dino -form. Dinosaurus is a dangerous although stupid, so Rhys could be the perfect to play it.
On the more heroic front, Rhys can be the ideal actor for someone like Space Racer or Tech Jacket. We have briefly seen these super when they are super when they are spent from InvincibleBut neither of the two characters has yet pronounced a word. Rhys may have been used to express one of them.
I guess we will know with certainty when Invincible Season 4 is finally published. In the meantime, read the section below for more coverage of the last season of the series.
