According to all accounts, Stefon Diggs continues to take positive measures in its restoration of an LCA injury which he suffered about 10 months ago.
While the regular season is getting closer, Digg’s availability for week 1 continues to be a concern for the New England Patriots. The wide starred receiver was not committed when asked if he would be satisfied on September 7.
“We will see. Everyone is excited, guy. I take it day by day. I feel good,” said Diggs during a recent sitdown on the “scoop city” podcast.

Last month, Vrabel said that Diggs had spent a physical medical authorization and received a medical authorization in time for the first day of the team’s training camp. The pro Bowl receiver trained on a base limited in the spring.

Diggs suggested that the staff of Patriots coaches were not optimistic about the prospect of taking the ground when the team opens its season against the Raiders of Las Vegas.
“I mean, I always push the needle,” said Diggs. “I always do more than less, and we will see around week 1. I don’t know what I feel about this subject. We will see. The coaches are not too excited. I’m not too excited. I’m just trying to take it day after day, so we will see. We don’t know where it will go.”
