A city where the districts have become daily witnesses are now witness to the theft of sacrificial animals. On Eidul Azha, Muslims sacrifice animals in memory of the practice (AS) of Hazrat Ibrahim. However, the trend in flights in the metropolis damages the spirit of the festival.
Costless sacrificial animals have attracted thieves to fleshy windfall. In one go, a bull worth two million or more rupees can be kidnapped and sold without asking any questions about any document or legal document.
Army thieves on bikes have torn off two cows as well as vehicles transporting them near the North cattle market on Wednesday. The drivers of loading vehicles blocked the road and organized a demonstration. They allegedly alleged that a mobile police patrol was parked nearby but refused to help, citing service restrictions.
