Sun of Justice will get up, says Imran

Rawalpindi:

Former Imran Khan Prime Minister was authorized on Tuesday to meet his lawyer, Ali Bukhari, while his wife Bushra Bibi met his daughter and sister-in-law at Adiala de Rawalpindi prison where the couple is detained.

However, the three sisters of Imran – Aleema Khan, Uzma Khan and Noreen Niazi – were denied access, encouraging them to organize a demonstration late at night in a local restaurant by the roadside. The police later repressed and held six PTI workers. However, it was later reported that the police assured Imran’s sisters that they would be allowed to meet him today (Wednesday).

Ali Bukhari, addressing the media after the meeting outside the prison, said that the founder of the PTI remains firm despite isolation.

Bukhari said six names had been submitted to the authorities to have permission to meet Imran, but that he was only authorized to meet the former Prime Minister.

He also noted that his client was denied access to newspapers and television and was not even allowed to meet his wife.

According to him, Imran insisted that “the sun of the justice will rise” and urged supporters not to lose courage.

In addition, Aleema Khan told journalists to the police ‘control point that mandates had been delivered against her and that she had not asked for a deposit.

“Our brother is inside; stop us too,” she said, adding that the authorities were not concerned about Pakistan or the founder of PTI. She demanded answers on riot incidents of May 9, 2023.

“Bring video surveillance images – cameras were not installed in such large institutions [attacked on that day]? Those who stole the images are those that set fire to the buildings.

“Why should we apologize? It is they who must apologize to the founder of the PTI. This injustice must end; the system cannot continue like that,” she added.

Meanwhile, the secretary general of the PTI, Salman Akram Raja, was also unleashed to the authorities, claiming that the courts of the courts against the PTI leaders in May 9 were only based on the testimony of two police officers who claimed to have entered the Zaman park carrying “invisibility caps”.

Addressing the media near Adiala prison, he said that the founder of the PTI had been kept in isolation for four weeks in defiance of an order from the High Court of Islamabad. He described the cases of conspiracy to involve the founder of the PTI, demanding transparent surveys.

“Based on the testimony of two police officers, parliamentarians are pronounced by ten -year sentences and their confiscated properties. Even the British during the Freedom Movement did not commit excess,” said Raja.

He revealed that Imran had ordered the party not to contest the by -elections on vacant seats.

“Some leaders believe that we should participate, but for us, his word is final. Without meeting him, an additional consultation is not possible,” he added, noting that since March 25, the family and the lawyers have been refused meetings with the founder of the PTI.
