The Supercross 2025 season had a difficult start for Braden Spangle and Wyatt Mattson pilots because they were both suspended from the third 250 race of the season.

Spangle and Mattson found themselves linked during a jump in qualifying at the Anaheim Angels Stadium, California. The two men began to fight on the track and almost hit their compatriot Anthony Castaneda and other bikers.

Supercross officials came to make sure that the other rides saw them while they dissolved their tangle. Spangle and Mattson were suspended for the race.

Spangle and Mattson failed to participate in the sleeves in San Diego and only Spangle reached the sleeves when the supercross was in Anaheim for the first time to start the season. However, Spangle could not participate in the main event.

On Saturday, Haiden Deegan won the race in Anaheim. He finished with 4.4 seconds ahead of Julien Beaumer. Deegan is second in points to start the season with Beaumer Premier and leading in seven points in the first three races.

Jordon Smith, Jo Shimoda and Cole Davies complete the top five.

In the main 450 event, Jett Lawrence won the race with approximately 2.4 seconds ahead of Ken Roczen.

Roczen leads the 450 ranking on Chase Sexton by three points. Lawrence is five points from Roczen in third position. Eli Tomac and Cooper Webb complete the top five.
