The French authorities have already billed more than two dozen people – including six minors – in the wave of crypto kidnappings in Paris, most of them linked to the attempted abduction of May 13 of the Pierre Noizat family, CEO of Exchange Paymium.
Still in May, the father of a French cryptographic millionaire was kidnapped in a case similar to the previous seizure of David Ballard, co-founder of the Crypto Ledger developer, and his wife. The kidnappers cut the finger of each of the men.
After these recent cases, the French Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau organized a meeting with people involved in the crypto to discuss measures to keep them safe.
