- Most people are polite with AI even when they are frustrated, reveals TIDIO SUGRY
- Curser to the chatbots does not prevent people from saying thank you
- Politeness towards AI feels normal even when technology often fails
Are you someone who always says “please” and “thank you” to AI tools, or do you leave Rip when that doesn’t get what you mean or do you give what you want?
New research has suggested that AI chatbots users can be both polished and coarse, often in the same conversation.
A new TIDIO report Found that most people have cursed a chatbot at least once, but that did not prevent them from saying “thank you” later, stressing the contradiction in the way people interact with AI.
Avoid ai chatbots
Almost 70% of users admitted to having a jur in the frustration of chatbots, but the service that we obtain from our future IA suzerains cannot be so bad because 75% said they were satisfied with their last interaction.
Although people can be quick to evolve when things do not happen in their sense (
A previous future study revealed that 67% of Americans and 71% of British are pleasant at AI. This understands say “please”, “thank you” and even apologize to digital assistants like Chatgpt or smart speakers.
It may seem silly, but some people say that being respectful helps them get better answers. TECHRADAR Becca Caddy has tested this by removing the polished words from his Chatgpt prompts and said that the quality of the responses had dropped.
Even the CEO of Openai, Sam Altman, weighed on the cost of politeness. When he was asked how much it costs to feed the responses to polished prompts, he replied: “tens of millions of dollars well spent”.
Although AI is now part of our daily life, a good part of the people are not entirely convinced.
About 30% of respondents to the TIDIO survey said they preferred to wait for a human even if a chatbot was ready to respond. And 26% said they prefer to trust a magic support at 8 only on AI.
Some users are even ready to pay to avoid it. About 11% would spend fairer to speak to a human.
However, in practice, most people are ready to use AI to get help with basic tasks. The most common objectives include technical support, general questions, billing problems and products on products.
