- The details of a next Switchbot Hub 3 appeared online
- The new hub will have a physical dial to control intelligent domestic devices
- Switchbot has not yet announced HUB 3, and there is not yet a release date
Switchbot, manufacturer of some of the best Smart Home devices, is preparing to launch a new center that will facilitate them more than ever thanks to a major addition: a programmable physical dial.
Switchbot gadgets (such as the small switchbot bot switch pusher and switchot locking) are particularly intelligent because they do not force you to replace anything in your home. Instead, they focus on electronics and objects that you already have, be your curtains, your door handle or the food button for your coffee maker. This makes it a particularly excellent choice for tenants who cannot easily replace the items in their house, and want intelligent home devices that they can easily take with them in a new house or a new apartment.
Personally, I use a blind Tilt of Switchbot to open the three small blinds in my room in the morning, and close them automatically at night. Switchbot now makes an intelligent roller blind, but the blind inclinations are cheaper, work well and have taken 10 minutes each to install.

Your devices are connected to your home Wi-Fi network via a switching center, and there are currently two different models available. If you simply control some devices in a relatively small space (like me), the Switchbot Hub Mini will adapt to the bill, but if you have a more complex system, the Switchbot Hub 2 is a better choice thanks to its larger range, its ability to control A / C systems, humidity and temperature sensors, LED display and tactile buttons to start personalized scenes. It also supports the Smart Home standard, allowing you to integrate your Switchbot devices into a multiplatform ecosystem.
Now Homekit News and Reviews has spotted the details of a next Switchbot Hub 3 on the website for the Connectivity Standards Alliance, the organization behind the material – and that should give you even more control thanks to the addition of a physical dial.

Display on the wires
The dial will allow you to control your air conditioning system, as well as multimedia reading via services, including Apple TV and Spotify.
The new Smart Hub will also have a screen activated by a movement, similar to many of the best intelligent thermostats, which should prevent unnecessary light that bothers you at night. It can show temperature and humidity in your home and rely on third -party weather services to show current forecasts. It can also display the state in real time of Switchbot Smart Locks
Switchbot himself has not yet announced the new hub, so we do not yet know when it is published or how much it will cost, but I hope that we will not have to wait much longer.
