Taylor Swift announced his commitment to the star of the NFL Travis Kelce on August 26 via an Instagram publication featuring several photos of the couple.
But, the legend accompanying the post left some confused fans as to whether she had also revealed a marriage.
The post -POP post -post included the message: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher get married”, which caused widespread speculation on social media on marriage plans and potential guest lists.
However, sources close to the couple specified that Swift had only announced only a commitment, not an immediate marriage.
“Taylor and Travis have been in celebration mode since commitment,” a source close to the Kelce family told people.
“They are not yet in the wedding planning phase. Right now, they just want to be engaged and they will take their time with.”
The source added: “It was a relief that should no longer be secret and they are happy that it was open. The two families are delighted. There were toasts, happy tears and everyone is delighted for them.”
Clarification led some fans to wrongly believe that Swift canceled a marriage, although no marriage has been announced.
The confusion stems from the interpretation of his figurative Instagram legend literally rather than understanding it as an announcement of commitment.
