Rachel Platten made a surprising announcement.
THE Combat song Hitmaker follows Taylor Swift’s advance and seeks to appropriate his music.
Holding on Instagram on Monday, Platten announced Fight Song (Rachel version) including his other famous songs from the 2016 album Forest fire.
In legend, Platten wrote: “I am proud to announce that the 26/26, I take out a new album with mine,” Rachel’s Versions “, Fight Song, stand by you and other songs from my album Wildfire”.
“Fight Song (Rachel version), will also include live songs and a surprise from The Vault,” she wrote.
Platten also continued: “I did not know when I wrote these songs in moments of vulnerability that they would continue to change my life. For a decade, they lived in the world, carrying their own weight. They were one of your moments of strength, doubt and connection. ”
Adding: “Now, while we are celebrating the 10th anniversary of the fighting song, I have returned to some of my originals, not to change them, but to recover them.”
“These are more than new versions of old songs; the new versions of Rachel are impregnated with the voice I now, the wisdom I have won and the undeniable pride of having my own masters.”
Platten also expressed his gratitude to Taylor Swift, who recorded his versions of emblematic album of Taylor, attracting attention to the importance of artists with their masters, saying: “I am grateful to @taylorswift for having put this conversation in the light and the empowerment of artists to regain control of their work, their stories and their future.
“Thank you to the immense original producer of forest fires, @jonlevine, for joining me again to re -record these songs.”
“And above all, thank you to all of you, who supported me during these years. I can’t wait for you to hear them again – this time, completely, completely and shamelessly,” concluded Rachel Platten.
