Marvel detectives, you have started it again. A week after detective fans said they had worked Avengers: Doomsdayintrigue, a great theory of fans concerning The Fantastic Four: First steps“The first trailer turned out to be correct.
During the showcase of yesterday (April 3) Walt Disney Studios at the Cinemacon 2025, the chief of Marvel Kevin Feige revealed new scenes – those which will not be published publicly, in my opinion – of the highly anticipated film Marvel Phase 6. And, in a surprise turn of events, The Fantastic Four: First steps“The last teaser revealed that fans had been curious to know something they saw during the first cycle of film sequences.
Major spoilers immediately follow for The Fantastic Four: First steps. Do not do if you don’t want to know anything before its release on July 25.
As revealed on social networks by the participants in Cinemacon, Sue Storm, which will be played by Vanessa Kirby in the Marvel cinematographic universe (MCU), will be pregnant for a part of the latest Restart of Fantastic Fantastic Four.
It will not be a huge shock for some fans. As I mentioned earlier, MCU’s faithful suspected that Sue Storm was with the child as soon as The Fantastic Four: First steps“The inaugural trailer has been abandoned online.
Several viewers have stressed that, during the teaser scene where Kirby’s storm and Reed Richards by Pedro Pascal show an individual around their house, something looked at Storm’s belly. This led a number of fans to theorize that Marvel had edited the images to hide her baby bump. Thanks to the film’s freezing coil of the film, we have confirmed that Storm will not only be pregnant, but it is likely to give birth to its first child First step.
Why the pregnancy of Sue Storm is a big problem in the fantastic four: first steps
The potentially large spoilers follow the beginnings of the MCU Fantastic Four.
Cut right in pursuit: Storm pregnancy is so huge because it means that Franklin Richards, Storm and Reed’s firstborn will appear in First step.
For uninitiated: Franklin Richards is not only a supremely powerful being in Marvel Comics, but it is also someone with incredibly narrow links with Galactus, alias First step“Big Bad who will be expressed by Ralph Inseon.
And, when I say “incredibly narrow links”, what I mean is that they are linked. No, Galactus is not Franklin’s true father – he is in fact Franklin himself.
Well, in a series of Marvel comics anyway. “ Earth X ”, a series of comics limited in 1999, sees Richards taking the cosmic entity deviating to the planet after the disappearance of Johnny Storm / The Human Torch, the brother of Sue and, by proxy, Franklin’s uncle.
Now it is incredibly improbable that the galactus that appears First step will be the future form of Franklin Richards of this universe. After all, there have been many versions of the character throughout the story of Marvel, many of which were not Franklin Richards to start.
Of course, time trips and dimension jump exist in the Marvemam Multiverse (MCM) Marvel, so it’s always a possibility. However, I do not think that it is the wisest decision to have Marvel’s first family against a nasty version of the offspring of two of their team members. Not now, anyway.
The most likely scenario is that Galactus – and its most famous Herald, alias the Silver Surfer, which was shown for the first time in First step“Cinemacon Greets – travel on earth for another reason. However, Galactus is interested in Franklin Richards because of his powerful powers of reality and teleportation.
If Galactus learns of Franklin Richards’ abilities, I suspect that he would like to requisition his own harmful ends. Namely, being able to travel through the multiverse to devour as many planets as possible in order to satisfy your endless hunger.
This could possibly lead the fantastic four transported to the MCU. Marvel has already teased that supergroup does not really exist in the MCU (Earth-616 designated), but live in an alternative reality. If their land is destroyed by Galactus because they refuse to put Franklin, First step Could end with Franklin teleporting his family to Terre-616 to escape Galactus and survive in another dimension. This would also prepare the field for the inclusion of the team, and probably a big role, in Avengers: Doomsday.
This is all speculation on my part. But, on the basis of what we now know about Franklin’s probable introduction First stepThis is the most logical theory I can find.
