- Apple revealed the release window for Ted Lasso season 4
- The popular show will land on the tech giant’s streaming service in mid-2026
- The titular football coach will return to Richmond to coach his women’s team.
It’s time to start believing again, my friends, because Apple has confirmed that Ted Lasso will return for its fourth season later this year.
The multi-award winning sports series, whose next episode is still filming – at least as of press time – is set to debut on Apple TV later this month. mid-2026.
Apple confirmed this in a press release sent out today (January 28). And with next season’s English Premier League kicking off on August 22 and the 2026/27 English Women’s Super League likely starting in September, Ted Lasso4 landing between late August and early September would be the perfect time for fans of the Jason Sudeikis-led show to land in the country in which it takes place.

In addition to revealing Ted Lasso Season 4 launch window, the tech giant also released new first look images, which you can see in the gallery above. Apple also reiterated what we can expect from the next chapter of the hugely popular series via a brief plot summary.
“In season four, Ted returns to Richmond and takes on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second division women’s soccer team,” the logline reads. “Throughout the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking risks they never imagined.”
Joining Sudeikis’ eponymous character on the returning cast front are Hannah Waddingham as Rebecca Welton, Juno Temple as Keeley Jones, Brett Goldstein as Roy Kent, Brendan Hunt as Coach Beard, Jeremy Swift as Leslie Higgins, Grant Feely as Henry Lasso and Annette Badland as Mae Green.
As for newcomers, season 4 will introduce us to characters played by Tanya Reynolds (Sex education), Jude Mack (Waiting for the release), Faye Marsey (Andor), Rex Hayes (The Pact), Aisling Sharkey (Jurassic World: Domination) and Abbie Hern (Peaky Blinders). However, the identity of their characters has not yet been revealed.
Ted Lasso Season 4 was officially announced in March 2025 after months of rumors that another episode was in the works. Four months later, Apple confirmed that filming was underway. Ted Lasso4which ended up being the last update we had received on the highly anticipated next entry in the series.
