Temporary regularized ADC staff

The Board of Directors of Capital Development Authority (CDA) approved several key initiatives, in particular the regularization of 22 temporary employees, pending the final decision of an appeal to the Supreme Court. This decision was made in the light of the Directives of the National Industrial Relations Commission (NIRC) and the High Court of Islamabad.

The 11th meeting of the ADC board of directors was held on Tuesday at the CDA headquarters in Islamabad, chaired by the president of the ADC, the chief commissioner of Islamabad, and the CEO of Civil Defense, Muhammad Ali Randhawa. The members of the board of directors and other senior officials were also present. During the meeting, various elements of the agenda were discussed. The president of the ADC ordered that future promotions and regularizations of employees should align themselves with the policies of the establishment division, Government of Pakistan.

The CDA board of directors also decided to actively continue the transformation of the nursery of the CDA model into a “Gardenia Hub”. To this end, the Board of Directors has examined the technical aspects and the requirements of affiliation with the University of Punjab to establish an institute of landscaping and horticulture under the nursery of Wing Wing CDA.

The ADC will collect more information and meet all the legal requirements for affiliation with the relevant department of the University of Punjab, Lahore. This institute aims to offer BS diplomas and one -year diploma programs in horticulture and landscaping.
