Russian tennis star Anna Kalinskaya beat Emma Raducanu at the Citi DC Open on Saturday, and a familiar face joined her on the field to celebrate the victory.
Kalinskaya’s dog, a Teckel named Bella, ran on the ground. It was the second time that the dog had come on the hard court. Friday evening, Kalinskaya celebrated with Bella after a victory over Clara Tauson.

The happy canine was seen to become a little exuberant while she ran to Kalinskaya. The tennis pro then held her dog to the crowd to a salvo of applause of those who are still in the stadium.
Kalinskaya will face Leylah Fernandez in the final on Sunday. She defeated Raducanu, 6-4, 6-3 and exceeded Tauson 6-3, 7-5, on the way to Fernandez’s match. Fernandez eliminated Elena Rybakina in the semi-finals and Taylor Townsend in the quarterfinals.
Tennis Great Venus Williams won the DC open match for the first single victory since 2023
Kalinskaya is classified 48th in the ranking of Women’s Tennis Association, his highest note being 11th in the world. She has a simple title to her credit and is 307-189 in career matches in career.

Tauson ousted Kalinskaya in the round of 16 in Wimbledon earlier this month. She lost in the first round of the French opening in May to Marie Bouzkova.
