A terrorist attack on the Hasan Khel police station in Peshawar’s Mattani area was repelled early Saturday morning, and two terrorists were killed in retaliatory firing, police officials confirmed.
According to Express NewsHeavily armed terrorists launched an attack on the police station with heavy weapons. A violent shootout ensued between the attackers and the police. Senior police officers described the situation as dangerous due to the use of heavy weapons by the attackers.

Police responded quickly, killing two terrorists in a firefight. However, reports suggest that more terrorists may still be present in the region, prompting continued security operations.

In response to the attack, additional police reinforcements and elite force units were deployed to the scene. The Capital Police Officer (CCPO) Peshawar confirmed that the exchange of fire was ongoing and all necessary measures were being taken to neutralize any remaining threat.
