- Adobe adds new AI tools to express
- The push towards the continuous video
- Clip Maker will save the creators so much time
Adobe has unveiled a flow of new additions for Adobe Express that, in my opinion, in fact a clear choice application in the arsenal of marketing and the creator.
There have been a lot of updates to Adobe Photoshop, first pro and illustrator pillars, infused with more firefly IA that you will not know what to do (consult our overview of the 5 biggest Firefly and first pro tools that were announced in Adobe Max London 2025)
But Adobe Express also received some additional love this year – and a host of new AI tools. To Adobe Max London of this year, I had the opportunity to discover a demo for some of them – and I begin to really see the growth here of its original role as a simple online designer, not a million kilometers of Canva, to a new focus on design and movement. It seems that we will have to update our Adobe Express opinion after all this.
What’s new in Adobe Express?
On new tools, Govind Balakrishnan, Vice-President Director and Managing Director, Adobe Express, said: “We are delighted to introduce new video and animation capacities supplied by AI to facilitate that people stand out and stand out with their brands.”
Here are the most remarkable additions that come to express.
1. Transform long shape videos into short content
This is my favorite new addition in Express. You can now cut long videos roughly click a button with Clip Maker. This update will be a serious time saving if you create long content for platforms such as YouTube or if you run webinaries and presentations, and you want to do it for coils, tiktok or shorts. During my demo, I saw a one -hour video cut into pieces of about ten minutes which can be edited.
2. Create new IA images based on existing images
Generating similar allows you to select existing images and, with a little incentive, to create new images that maintain the same aspect and sensation. This worked very well during my demo, where a strongly stylized image of a rose was used as a starting point, and using Firefly, a similar image of a tulip was generated. The color, style and framing crossed, as if the work was of a single “artist”. Not a game change through the game, but it will help users stay on a brand and quickly create an image library that is well together.
3. Transform fixed images into catchy animations
Adobe Express bread and butter are simple graphic conceptions, but it’s a very good addition. You can now run sections of a static image – for example, adding sparkling stars, showing your text or letting items shake on the screen. I did not find it as powerful as you will see it in the more advanced Adobe applications, but if you are looking for more engaging content for your social platforms, it is a nice touch. For more image tools – although I have not had the chance to see them in action – you now have access to more than 30 new filters supplied by Photoshop inside the Express.
4. More generation of IA videos
You cannot spend ten seconds without the AI annoying in the workflow, but I think that they will be welcomed by most users. You can now generate commercially safe videos in Express. I was told that all the history and B -Roll seen in the demo were created in this way – and they seemed pretty good to me.
5. Improve audio with improving speech
If you use other Creative Cloud applications, you may know Enhance Speech – it’s already part of Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Podcast. Indeed, this tool uses AI (of course) to clean sounds. So, if you record in an echo room or there is a little too much background chatter in the office, this tool will remove the unwanted audio and will standardize the noise levels.
6. Better faster subtitling
Another new tool is automatic subtitling. Now there is nothing particularly new in this tool – but it is new to express, and I found that it was quite fast. In addition to that, users now have more control over how these legends appear. Useful if you have colors and brand styles you want to apply.
7. Record yourself and add it to the canvas
I did not expect that, but you can now self-record videos and add them to Express. According to Adobe, this is designed for “tutorials, video podcasts, coils and more”. In the demo, I liked how you can position the video anywhere on the canvas and resize it according to your needs. You will find these types of webcam capture tools in the best screen recording software, but it seems to be a transparent way to mix self-recorded videos with existing conceptions.
