Apple’s WWDC 2025 show starts at Apple Park at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. He / 18h BST on June 9, 2025 – which means that we are now very close to seeing the next generation of iPhones, MacBooks, Apple Wesroes and more.
So what should we expect from one of the biggest Apple events of the year? Although WWDC product launches are unusual and unexpected, but not unknown, it is Keynote that sets the whole year of Apple. In particular, by showing us what the next version of iOS will look like, it prepares the way to the exit from the iPhone 17 range, which expects most in September.
WWDC 2025 will also mark the first anniversary of Apple Intelligence’s introduction. Since Apple only managed to deliver part of what was promised in June 2024, it is not clear how Apple will approach this enigma of AI.
There are many switching reports behind the scenes while Apple reshapes its Apple intelligence team and tries to relaunch efforts to deliver a transformed SIRI which can compete with Gemini and Chatgpt.
Some believe that Apple will not mention Siri, but will focus on Apple’s intelligence as is and will mention certain improvements in functionalities. It is unlikely that it promises to promise revealing generative characteristics, especially after having too promising a year ago.
Let’s take a look at what we and other apple experts, TO DO Expect that Tim Cook and the company reveal on June 9 …
1. iOS 26 lands with a fresh overhaul
We are very unlikely to see Apple engage in a brand new Siri at WWDC 2025, but we could have a clue to what happens. After all, how can Apple deliver iOS 26 (yes, Apple should go to the year-based software names) without a new Siri experience with Apple Intelligence?
A more concrete idea of what to expect emerged from Mark Gurman de Bloomberg, his predictions of June 6 being particularly complete. According to the well -connected Apple reporter, the biggest change will be a new Visionos -based software design.
This will mean a lot of more “more” “digital glass” of light and transparency “through iOS 26 and the other Apple operating systems. Why would Apple use its mixed reality headset platform as a basic look is an enigma to be resolved on June 9.
Compared to this overhaul, the other new iOS 26 features may seem a little disappointing. There will be apparently a new dedicated game application to access Apple Arcade, as well as other upgrades such as battery management powered by AI. However, three of Apple’s own applications – the phone, the safari and the camera application – are apparently due for “important redesign”, the latter benefiting from useful unblocking.
According to Techradar phones expert James Rogerson, it is unlikely that we see a lot of photo editing tools powered by AI or SIRI improvements. But a long feature that we could see is an AI AIP upgrade for Apple health application.
2. IPados 26 obtains mac type features
It will be fascinating to hear how Apple Exercise explains what we suppose to be a deeper fusion between the functionality of iPados and MacOS in iPados 26 (which could also be iPados 19, if Apple is held at its current name convention).
Techradar’s ipad veteran Jamie Richards says the best multitasking is at the top of the Ipados improvements to WWDC 2025, based on the combination of a clear need and rumors of points noted like Majin BU, which predicted a scene redesign.
Mark Gurman de Bloomberg argued this, with affirmations that “Apple completely reorganizes the multitasking functionality of the iPad to be more similar to Mac”. Finally! The bad news? This may mean that you need to connect your iPad to expensive accessories like Apple’s magic keyboard.
Apple could do all of this because a request has long been to match the iPad Mac in office capacity. Yes, we know it is a tablet, but many now use iPads with a physical keyboard and treat them like light laptops. However, the inability to take care of more than, say, four windows open at the same time and the personalization of the interface that corresponds to a Mac is frustration.
The messaging here, however, will be critical. Apple must inspire new converted iPads while satisfying and not frightening iPad pillars that have used the tablet since its creation in 2010.
3. A play push for MacOS 26
Most expect the Apple software to be the fact that Craig Federighi unveils a large overhaul of MacOS 26 – which, as for iOS 26, should borrow from the vision pro interface.
Although the interface based on the gaze and the gestures of the helmet is well considered, it is difficult to understand exactly how it will work on the Mac. Admittedly, Federighi will have exciting demos to share.
It is believed that it could be the moment when Apple finally reveals a macOS adapted to the key. After all, we expect Apple to push iPados and macOS closer to each other (see above). Put it firmly in the category of “external bets”, however.
A more likely scenario, according to a Bloomberg report, is a new game application. This will theoretically connect Apple’s game properties, such as Apple Arcade, and games downloaded from the App Store. But on Mac, it could also bring together games downloaded from other third party sources.
Other areas of interest for the Keynote macOS 26 part – which will apparently mark the “ Tahoe ” – would be better management of Wi -Fi, new battery controls, Google Gemini integration and, of course, the revelation of this very important name
4.
There is an external chance that WWDC 2025 can be a exciting moment for Apple Watch fans, with Watchos 12 (or more likely, Watchos 26) providing support for blood pressure and a new AI health coach (there is not everything that will be an “Apple Intelligence health coach” or just “AI Health Coach”).
The editor and the editor in shape, Matt Evans, has added a certain color, “blood pressure via LED remains the holy grail of watches, but the Whoop MG goes around this using a bras to measure the BP as a basis, then estimates fluctuations based on other vital signs such as heart health.”
Evans also noted that Apple Intelligence for the control of the basic functions could arrive on the Apple Watch. Again, it is unlikely that it is a major update of Apple’s intelligence functionality, but rather a wearing of what you can do in iOS, but with a portable flavor.
Mark Gurman de Bloomberg now seems to be less convinced than we will see anything on this scale at WWDC 2025 – commenting on the overhaul of Apple’s health application and the AI doctor service, he says that “none will be shown in WWDC” due to delays. However, we remain optimistic that we could get a teaser showing what is happening, even if a full launch is always a means.
A more realistic objective, according to the contributor to Techradar Fitness, Lloyd Coombs, is on outdoor exercise monitoring features that exploit the robustness and user -friendly features of the ultra series – in particular as a Apple Watch Ultra 3 should land later this year.
5. A smarter tvos
I interviewed Matt Bolton, our editor-in-chief, Entertainment, on what could be announced for the next version of Tvos, the platform operating in your Apple TV streaming box. He told me that we should finally expect to see an intelligence in tvos.
“In TVOS, you can probably ask for movies and show more organically, even if you do not know the name – or ask for recommendations depending on what you like. It’s really common in other intelligent tot -tote streaming devices.”
Bolton is also looking forward to the TVOS overhaul, with some reservations. “The aesthetic idea that I imagine is a home screen that has a 3D superposition element, similar to that of Visionos. Application icons float in front, with an image behind them-and I hope something more interesting than a simple background,” he said. The potential problem with the background video is that it is abused by trailers or announcements for emissions, but it seems unlikely that Apple takes this path.
According to MacRumors, we can indeed expect the overview of Visionos style which should honor iOS 26, MacOS 26 and more, to also come to TVOS. Fortunately for those who have older boxes, the new TVOS 26 could also support the boxes as far as the Apple TV HD of 2015, as well as the following three generations of Apple TV 4K.
6. Live Translate for AirPods
On Airpods, Matt Bolton de Techradar expects a “live translation based on AI and generally a more intelligent Siri conversationist”, according to the Apple Intelligence path to Siri.
This intuition has since been saved by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, who says that Apple “prepares translations of live conversations for AirPods carriers”, its translate application is also established “integrated through its operating systems as Apple Intelligence”.
What Bolton also hopes to see on the Airpods front is “the Bluetooth support The audio and auracast integrated into iOS, with the matching AirPods support. This would allow better quality of better quality music and better accessibility.”
With other recent rumors predicting that AirPods could also obtain more control of gestures and sleep detection at WWDC 2025, this could be a fruitful spectacle for owners of Apple wireless headphones.
7. Another thing – Aerial Teaser of the iPhone 17?
Regarding an Apple Keynote, never excludes a surprise. In the past, we have had an overview of a new Mac Pro, new MacBooks and Pro Vision.
This year, new Macs are a very external possibility, as well as mixed reality and AR helmet, like a pro -lite vision and apple glasses, respectively.
There is also the smallest chance that Tim Cook can tease Apple’s first folding iPhone or, more likely, even the ultra-thin iPhone 17 air.
Let’s face it, Apple needs a little dazzling this year to distract from what was a slightly a slightly waded journey of 12 months. And the aerial rumors of the iPhone 17 have increased lately, with recent whispers predicting that it will be even thinner than the Samsung Galaxy S25 edge just 5.5 mm thick.
