- AM class amplification, anc hybrid and “dynamaq” smart eq
- £ 119 / € 139 / $ 149.99 (approximately $ 248 at) – USA TBC launch price
I have listened to a lot of headphones over the years, and some of my favorites come from the British Hi-Fi brand Cambridge Audio: I owned the very first Melomania 1 buds in the company, which hit well above their modest prices, and I also possessed (and really evaluated) their touch of Melomania. I am therefore very excited by the arrival of new headphones Cambridge with even higher sound specifications.
The new buds are the Cambridge Audio Melomania A100, to effectively replace the already fragile Melomania M100 launched in May 2024 – and they boast of a new design, a fully redesigned companion application and some important audio improvements.
Just want to know how Well they are? You don’t even need to wait! We have a complete review of Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 ready for you the first doors.
Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 headphones: Key characteristics and price
Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 bud buds have ldac and lossless Aptx (compatible phones) for high -quality audio streaming, and they have the same AB AB AMMA amplification that you will find in CX serial amplifiers and ex -acclaim of the company. The AMPs lead the 10 mm neodymium pilots in precise adjustment and promise “deeper bass, richer mediums and high crystalline”.
I’m sure they deliver exactly that: I like the Sound Audio Cambridge, which tends to promote clarity compared to the low-end thug and too severe highs, and these have been set to provide the same signature sound as the other models of the company.
These buds also introduce something that Cambridge calls “Dynameq”, which is designed to subtly improve the audio when you increase the volume up or down: different frequencies behave differently from each other when the volume levels change, so for example the bass, which is excellent at a high volume can be fragrant at lower levels. Dynameq promises to adjust this for a coherent sound to any volume without coloring the audio.
There are 11 hours of lifespan of the battery of the buds alone (6.5 with anc and 28 others via the load case), hybrid anc and a Malomania Connect update application that you can use to redo the touch controls and modify the equation. Bluetooth is 5.4 with multipoint. In addition, there is a table of six MICs for light vocal and video calls.
The Cambridge Audio Melomania A100 is available from today (Thursday, June 26) in the United Kingdom, Europe and Asia with a price of £ 119 / € 139 / 149.99 $ (around $ 248 in). The prices and availability of the United States will be announced later this year.
