Cozart was far from being the only person in the world of sport to praise Trump after Iran’s reprisal attack on an American base in Qatar did not do much.

Bruce Pearl, Auburn Tigers male basketball coach, wrote on social networks that Trump should win the Nobel Peace Prize.

“This is what a peace manufacturer and the head of the free world does, he intervenes when the two parties cannot agree and he gives them an offer that they cannot refuse,” wrote the university basketball coach on X. “He should receive the Nobel Peace Prize. I pray that all parties can offer a certain grace and keep peace.”

Trump made his way to a NATO summit on Tuesday while the ceasefire between Iran and Israel was suspended in class. He told the two countries to stop shooting missiles on each other after negotiating the agreement.

“I am not satisfied with Israel. You know, when I say, okay, now you have 12 hours, you do not go out in the first hour and drop everything you have on them. So I’m not satisfied with them. I am not satisfied with Iran either, but I am really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning,” Trump told journalists before leaving.

“We have essentially two countries that have been fighting for so long and so hard that they don’t know what they are doing.”
