The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) posted record figures for the second quarter of 2025, recovering RS456.3 billion – almost five times more than 91 billion rupees recovered in the first quarter – marking a significant jump in its anti -corruption efforts, the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) reported.

According to a press release from the NAB, mobile and real estate properties worth RS532,33 billion were paid among the federal and provincial government institutions, as well as financial organizations.

Until now, more than 12,000 people affected by public fraud programs have received financial restitution. The total recovery of the office in the past two years now amounts to 5.85 Billions of rupees – more than seven times the amount he had recovered since its creation in 1999.
