- The Apple Watch 11 series is unlikely to monitor blood oxygen
- Its other rumor characteristics do not seem interesting enough to me
- It means that I will probably jump the upgrade this year
The Apple Watch 11 series is probably about six months after the launch, but rumors about its new features were rare. Right now, I find it difficult to see a reason to go from my Apple Watch 10 series – even considering the last rumors.
Here are five reasons why I think of giving a pass to the Apple Watch Series 11, a lack of new features to certain potentially dull additions.
1. Surveillance of blood oxygen
The last treat surrounding the series 11 comes from the Bloomberg journalist, Mark Gurman, who says that there is no sign that Apple is about to restore a blood oxygen detection system in his next intelligent watch.
In case you have missed it, Apple was forced to deactivate this feature after a disputed litigation in patent. But if Gurman – who has a solid assessment for Apple leaks – cannot see him go back so early, it is one less reason for me to want to upgrade later this year.
2. 5g and satellite connectivity
The Apple Watch Ultra is the more robust (and expensive) version of the ordinary Apple Watch, and it often obtains high -end features before any other watch edition. This could be the case again this year, if the rumors are correct, with the 5G connectivity and satellite to come to the ultra. The series 11, however, should miss.
Satellite connectivity in particular would really interest me, because it would allow me to contact the outside world if I was stuck in the signal desert. But at $ 799, the Apple Watch Ultra is outside my budget-and with these features which supposedly jumped the series 11, this is one more reason for me to give it a pass.
3. Apple Intelligence
Apple Intelligence has not yet turned on the world on fire, and even if I have it on my iPhone and my Mac, I find that I barely use it on either. And with some of the best delayed Apple Intelligence features, there is not much incitement to use it regularly.
This means that even if the Apple Watch Series 11 comes with an Apple Intelligence upgrade, it is unlikely that I convince myself to upgrade unless there is a big change in its capacities. For the moment, I’m happy to sit down.
4. New colors
Sometimes Apple brings out a new Apple Watch color, and this would happen again this year. However, although the new nuances were generally quite sympathetic, the problem is that they never seem to influence me.
Make no mistake, I think that the 10 series of Apple Black Apple was magnificent, and the Deep Blue Series 7 model also caught my attention. However, I have always opted for silver aluminum watch versions because this color goes with so many watch groups. Even if Apple is launching a new color this year, I would probably go still for the Silver thanks to its flexibility.
5. Blood pressure alerts
Apple Watch has become an excellent health and fitness tool, and it is able to warn you if your health measures are starting to show worrying signs. This could get another boost this year if blood pressure monitoring arrives at the Apple Watch Series 11, as has been said.
My problem is not with this functionality itself, because I think it was worth it. The problem is that I do not think that this feature alone is sufficient to try to upgrade. With all the other features that I mentioned, not doing enough for me, it is unlikely that blood pressure warnings be able to switch the balance.
