The ATC cancels the surety, the arrest orders of Imran Khan’s lawyer, Naeem Panjotha,

An anti-terrorism court has canceled the provisional surety of Naeem Haider Panjotha Advocate so as not to present himself for hearing matters registered against him and order his arrest. Panjotha, the lawyer for the founder of PTI, Imran Khan, had obtained a provisional deposit in two cases registered against him at the Attock police station on November 26.

Although he was summoned, Panjotha and his lawyer did not appear before the court on the scheduled date. Due to non-comparison, the court canceled its provisional surety and ordered the authorities to arrest him.

Who is Naeem Panjotha

Naeem Haider Panjotha, an eminent member of the legal team of the founder of the PTI, Imran Khan, represented the leader of the party in several high -level cases. These include the defense of Khan in several cases of violence of May 9 resulting from demonstrations after his arrest, as well as cases of long -term vandalism deposited against alleged public damage during PTI demonstrations in Islamabad.

Panjotha also appeared for Khan in the Trust / Graft case of Al-Qadir and other procedures related to corruption, in petitions contesting his conditions of detention and his prison facilities, and in the cases registered under sedition and related accusations for having pretended to be made against public institutions.

In several cases, his advocacy led to the suspension of mandates, approvals of the deposit or acquittals for the former Prime Minister.

In addition to the defense of Imran Khan, Panjotha is also active in the promotion of PTI’s account in the media and in the forums of lawyers. He was under the spotlight recently after being nominated in a FIR tabled by a journalist who was allegedly assaulted by PTI workers during the media conversation of Aleema Khan outside the Adiala prison.

In addition, it was reserved in a separate case on the complaint of the president of the association of the bar of the High Court of Islamabad, accusing Panjotha and other lawyers of resorting to violence when they were prevented from raising slogans against public institutions outside the CIH.
