The government of Balutchistan has ordered citizens to quickly report the members of the missing family or those suspected of joining non -state groups, warning that the fact of not doing it will invite strict legal action under anti -terrorist laws.
According to an official notification of the Department of Home, parents, brothers and sisters, tutors and relatives have legal and legal responsibility to inform the nearest police station or the competent authorities if a family member disappears or is suspected of having joined non -state or terrorist groups.
The Department of Origin has published the notification through advertisements in local newspapers, clearly indicating that any delay or failure to report these disappearances will be treated as an offense punishable under article 202 of the Pakistani Penal Code (PPC), read with article 11-e (1) of the Anti-Terrorism Law (ATA), 1997.
He warned that if a missing person was later affiliated with terrorist organizations or involved in activities related to terrorism – in particular by providing financial, logistical or shelter to terrorists – their family members will be confronted with legal action. These cases will be continued under articles 118 and 202 of the PPC and the relevant provisions of the ATA.
The Department of Origin stressed that families holding this information will be considered facilitators, accomplices or supporters of the anti-state elements, and legal proceedings will be carried out under articles 7, 120A and 120b of the PPC and article 11 (1) (A) (EEE) of the ATA.

In addition, if a person is in contact with hostile groups or involved in terrorism, family members can also be reserved under articles 107, 109 and 114 of the PPC and articles 11-E (1) and 11-F de l’ATA.
The government has urged citizens to quickly report these cases to police stations or intelligence agencies. The notification has referred to the relevant sections of the ATA – including 11 W, 11 -Q and 11 -E (1) – Empowering it citizens and the State to act in the national interest.
Emitted “in the public interest”, notification reiterated that non-compliance will be treated as a facilitation of terrorism and treated under the anti-terrorist laws of Pakistan.
