Islamabad:
The Federal Minister for Law and Justice, senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, met representatives of various bars associations.
The presidents and secretaries of the associations of bars of Gujrat, Chiniot, Talagang, Bhalwal, Phalia, Pind Dadan Khan, Kamoke and others attended the meeting.
The Minister has assured associations in the United States that the next elections of the Provincial Council of the Bar would take place on time and in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
He clarified that there would be no amendment to the law on the Council of the Bar or to any fundamental legal framework; However, certain regulatory improvements are being studied.
