The best Turkish officials arrive in Pakistan today

Ankara:

The Ministers of Foreigners and the Defense of Turkey will go to Pakistan on Wednesday for interviews with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to discuss bilateral links, regional issues and the cooperation of the defense industry, a Turkish diplomatic source announced on Tuesday.

Turkey has close links with Pakistan and expressed its solidarity with it during its military conflict with India in May, angry with India.

During the visit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Hakan Fidan will express the desire of Turkey to deepen the links in all areas and to offer the support of Ankara to take measures towards regional peace, said the source. Fidan will stress that countries “must strengthen their cooperation in the defense industry,” said the source.
