- The next iPad Pro could have two selfie cameras
- This would call easy videos in any orientation
- The tablet will also be upgraded with an M5 chipset
We expect a successor to the Ipad Pro 2024 of the M4 at one point this year, and alongside the standard performance bump, it seems that we were going to get a rather unusual camera upgrade: the tablet will apparently arrive with two selfie cameras.
This comes from the reliable holder of the Apple Mark Gurman in Bloomberg, who says that the iPad Pro 2025 M5 will offer forward -facing cameras on the longest and shortest sides of the device, hidden in the glasses.
The reflection is that the identification and facet calls can then be more easily made, that the iPad is in portrait or landscape mode. Presumably, the tablet would automatically choose the best camera for work according to its orientation.
The model of last year moved the selfie camera on the longer side of the iPad Pro for the first time. Face ID always works as usual; However, the iPad is more practical for video calls made in landscape mode.
Coming in 2025
Since the current iPad Pro M4 has obtained a thinner significant design and an OLED screen, it is unlikely that we will see all the major changes with the M5 version – apart from the performance boost which is delivered with a faster chipset inside.
Until now, most of the rumors and leaks that we have seen around the upcoming tablet have simply declared that the device is launched in 2025. Most of the titles are suitable for it will appear in the second half, in which we are now.
Gurman himself said that the tablet could be launched in late 2025 or early 2026. IPAD pros have already been announced in months, especially in April, May and October, it is therefore difficult to predict when the improved model could possibly arrive.
We know that iPados 26 brings with it a revised visual design called Liquid Glass, like all other Apple software platforms, and that the software update should be deployed in September alongside iOS 26 and iPhone 17 handsets.
