Friday, the Bohra community of Karachi famous Eidul Azha with a deep religious devotion and a festive spirit.

Special prayers of the Congregation of Eid took place in various localities, notably Saddar, Pakistan Chowk, Haidery, Baloch Colony and North Nazimabad.

The largest participation rate was at the Saddar Tahiri mosque.

Security remained tight throughout the city, while the police and paramilitary guards were deployed outside the Bohra mosques to ensure peaceful observation.

After the prayers, the members of the community carried out the traditional animal sacrifice, marking the religious meaning of Eidul Azha.

The festival commemorates the dedication of the prophet Ibrahim (AS), who was ready to sacrifice his son Ismail in obedience to Allah. The EID also marks the culmination of the Hajj pilgrimage to Makkah.

The meat of sacrifices is being distributed among the disadvantaged, as part of the benefice of the community of the community during the festival.

In addition, Afghan refugees residing in various parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, including Peshawar, observed Eidul Azha on Friday.

Eid prayers took place in fields such as Hayatabad, Board Bazaar, Karkhano Market, Shamshato Camp and Nasir Bagh, where Afghan communities have offered in large numbers of Eid prayers.

Friday, Muslims around the world observed Eid, while others will celebrate it tomorrow (Saturday), according to the observations of the Moon in their respective regions.

In Saudi Arabia, Eid prayers took place in Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid al-Nabwi in Medina.

Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who interpreted OMRA overnight, joined the Congregation of Eid at Masjid al-Haram.

Meanwhile, millions of pilgrims arrived in Mina de Muzdalifah as part of the next phase of Hajj.

The pilgrims have carried out Rami, the symbolic stoning of Jamarat al-Aqaba (the largest of the three pillars), and will continue the ritual over the next two days.

Eidul Azha was also celebrated through the United Arab Emirates. The largest gathering in Dubai was organized by the Kalemah Center of Al Quasais.
