The new alternative helmet of Cleveland Browns was not the biggest scenario after its unveiling on Wednesday in the middle of Lake Érié.

This is because one of their videographers fell into the lake trying to capture the moment.

Cleveland will sport a new helmet three times this regular season with brown uniforms with orange columns. To show the helmet, the Browns gathered a large float on the Lake Érié which presented a replica of inflatable helmet from those that the players would wear.

But the franchise which simply does not seem to be right on the ground could not do it on the lake either, because a videographer fell into the water during the shooting of the helmet was revealed.

Chomps, the Browns mascot, quickly launched a flotation device for the videographer, while a jet ski came to pick up the man.

Deshaun Watson de Browns marries a longtime girlfriend: “We sail”

Could it be an omen for the Browns season? Well, Cleveland fans were not optimistic about the 2025 campaign after a difficult year in 2024.

The Browns went 3-14 in a season which saw the quarter-arre Deshaun Watson tear his Achilles not one, but twice, and several backups trying to find a way to manage the offensive of Kevin Stefanski.

In 2025, Watson should not be useful, which means that a quarter -back battle will take place in the training camp with Joe Flacco – the return player of the year of the NFL with this team two seasons after having helped them reach the playoffs – Kenny Pickett and the Dillon Gabriel and Sander Sanders recruits.

The Browns have not won a title since the start of the Super Bowl era, and in their quest to change this, the franchise has experienced difficult seasons, including a 0-16 finish in 2017.

Since Stefanski took over in 2020, he helped lead the Browns to their first place in the playoffs since 2002, but they have not exceeded the division tour.

With quarters of a quarter and a difficult division as always in AFC North, there is more pessimism than optimism about the Browns entering in 2025.

But there is always this surprise in the NFL every year, and maybe the Browns can make a sensation (pun).
