A group of militia in Burma who heads a large-scale paradise for cyber-slices, the Karen national army, was blocked by the American financial system by the Ministry of the Treasury.
The American authorities said on Monday that the organization had provided a paradise for transnational criminal organizations which use the border region controlled by the KNA to direct illegal operations such as trafficking in human beings and smuggling. The group, which would have links with the Burmese army, is also accused of having favored cyber-species and cryptographic flights on an “industrial scale” linked to billions of dollars in losses.
Under the control of KNA, hotels and casinos have been modernized to house elaborate “pork butcher’s shop” in which American citizens were attracted to fraudulent romantic ties and were stolen from money in the form of cryptocurrency, according to the Treasury department. Those who engaged in scams were themselves held in captivity or under pressure to execute the flights of months which sometimes used attractive models to engage in video calls.
In new American sanctions – also specifically targeting the organization leader, Saw Chit Thu, and his sons, saw Htoo Eh Moo and seen Chit Chit – The Foreign Treasury Bureau blocks any use of American assets or interactions with the United States or entities.
This action follows closely in the heels of last week’s decision in the United States to break the Cambodian company Huione Group of the financial system. Huione would have an outlet for money laundering to criminal organizations in Southeast Asia.
