The CEO of Lahore Qalandars, Atif Rana, expressed his optimism that the remaining matches of the Super League (PSL) in Pakistan will be held in Pakistan.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced last week the indefinite postponement of the remaining eight games of the PSL 10 in the light of the deterioration of the regional security situation.

However, after Pakistan and India have reached an understanding of a ceasefire, sources told PK Press Club News that the PCB should make a major decision on the remaining matches soon.

Speaking on the PK Press Club News program “PK Press Club Pakistan”, Rana said that the franchises unanimously asked for the tournament to continue in the country.

He noted that the packaged stages would project a positive image of Pakistan into the world, stressing that the full return of the tournament on the local field would be an important achievement.

“The last call on this subject will be made by the president of the PCB [Mohsin Naqvi]”Said Rana, expressing her confidence in the leadership decision.

Commenting on the performance of her own team, Rana said that Lahore Qalandars had a match to play and that a victory would see them in the playoffs.
